Airtel subsidiary will better leverage its data center infrastructure while CenturyLink will gain access to Indian market
Airtel’s data center managed services business, Nxtra Data has entered into a partnership with US-based cloud, hosting and managed service provider, CenturyLink to provide such services to Indian enterprises. The exclusive partnership is aimed at Airtel leveraging its data center infrastructure better while CenturyLink gets an Indian entry.
While the Nxtra Data-CenturyLink combine is trgeting business enterprises, a partneship announced in the same week, targets the developers and designers. Cloudways, one of the fastest growing cloud platforms integrated new data centers from DigitalOcean in Bangalore.
Tata Communications had last month annouced selling up a majority stake in its data cenner business to Singapore-based ST Telemediia.
Nxtra Data manages 10 Tier III/+ & ISO 27001 Certified Data Centres at Noida, Manesar, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Bubhaneshwar comprising approx. 200,000 sq. ft. of floor space. It offers data center managed services including co-location, managed services, managed hosting, managed back-up & storage, managed security,virtual compute and cloud with both domestic and international network connectivity.
