At the Gartner Symposium/ITxpo, which is taking place at Stamford, Connecticut, analysts announced the top predictions for CIOs and IT organizations in 2017 and beyond. The research firm forecasts high gains from technologies such as blockchain, analytics and augmented reality. It also indicated that in three years, brands will bid goodbye to mobile apps.
