Lt. General (retd.) Rajesh Pant has been appointed as the Chief of National Cyber Coordination Center (NCCC). He takes over from Gulshan Rai, the first Cybersecurity Chief of India, who had held the post for four years.
Earlier, Pant had served the NCCC as Officer on Special Duty. Having over a decade of experience in Defense IT & Telecom, he was one of the founding members of the country’s electronic warfare program. He has vast experience in electronic warfare, geo-intelligence and cyber warfare.
