Ninad Raje Appointed as Group CIO at The Times Group – Driving Digital Innovation and Transformation Across Media & Technology

The  Times Group has appointed Ninad Raje as its Group Chief Information Officer (CIO), marking a significant addition to its leadership team. With over 25 years of experience across technology, digital transformation, and business strategy, Ninad brings a wealth of expertise in leading large-scale IT, cloud, and enterprise innovation initiatives across multiple industries.

Before joining The Times Group, Ninad served as Group CIO at Jaquar & Company, where he played a pivotal role in enhancing enterprise agility and operational excellence. Prior to that, he spent a decade at HealthAssure, where he held multiple leadership roles including Chief Information & Transformation Officer and Chief People Officer. During his tenure, Ninad led end-to-end digital transformation initiatives — from pioneering the On-demand Insta Telemedicine platform to architecting AWS cloud migration and implementing AI-driven automation and OCR-based data systems that revolutionized operational efficiency.

Earlier in his career, Ninad spent over 12 years at UnitedHealth Group, where he was instrumental in setting up and scaling UHG India’s technology and operations, managing cross-functional teams, and leading several global healthcare innovation programs. His early work at Pugmarks Inc. in Chicago showcased his pioneering spirit — creating the world’s first automated backup solution and advancing internet enablement projects for major Indian media houses such as Indian Express and Hindustan Times.

With his extensive background in digital transformation, enterprise technology, and people leadership, Ninad is set to lead The Times Group’s next phase of technological evolution — empowering innovation, data-driven strategy, and digital-first operations across all verticals.
