Anand Kumar Sinha has joined Tata Technologies as Chief Digital & Information Officer, taking charge of the company’s digital transformation, IT strategy, and information security from the Pune office. Anand brings a rich blend of technology leadership spanning digital transformation, AI, cloud, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity — experience that will help Tata Technologies accelerate product engineering excellence and deliver next-generation digital solutions.
In this role Anand will define and execute the digital and IT roadmap, drive AI-led initiatives, strengthen IT infrastructure and cloud adoption, champion cybersecurity and governance, and enable business change through technology. He will also lead cross-functional teams and partner ecosystems to deliver scalable platforms, faster time-to-market, and measurable business outcomes.
Anand’s recent leadership includes serving as CIO & Global Head – IT at Birlasoft, where he led enterprise IT strategy and digital programs, and earlier roles such as CIO & Director – IT India at OCS Group, Senior Vice President & Head Technology at BARC India, and Head of Information Technology at Airtel. He has a proven track record of driving large, distributed IT operations, implementing IoT and M2M solutions, delivering 24×7 mission-critical platforms, and building partner frameworks with global technology firms.
Active in the CIO community, Anand is a member of the CIO Association (CIO Klub), CIOs of India, Computer Society of India, and an executive member of CyberEdBoard — reflecting his commitment to industry collaboration and technology best practice.
