Nishchai Nevrekar has joined STL – Sterlite Technologies Limited as Chief Digital Officer (CDO), where he will lead the company’s enterprise-wide digital transformation and AI-led innovation agenda.
In his new role, Nishchai will drive STL’s digital-first transformation, focusing on AI adoption, Industry 4.0 initiatives, and scalable digital platforms to create sustainable competitive advantage while maintaining cost efficiency. His mandate includes embedding a strong digital culture, modernising core processes, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
Prior to joining STL, Nishchai served as Chief of Digital at Pidilite Industries Limited, where he led large-scale digital transformation programs, multi-company platform architecture, and initiatives spanning advanced analytics, AI/ML, digital supply chain, CRM, mobility, IoT, and Industry 4.0.
Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at Firestar Diamond Group, Videocon Consumer Durables, and in corporate strategy functions, gaining deep exposure across retail systems, global technology platforms, digital experience, and enterprise transformation.
With a strong blend of business strategy, technology leadership, and execution excellence, Nishchai Nevrekar’s appointment strengthens STL’s focus on becoming a digitally empowered, future-ready organisation.
