Craig Flower has been appointed Chief Operating Officer at Zendesk, marking a key leadership move as the company sharpens its focus on AI-led customer experience and operational excellence.
In his new role, Craig is responsible for strengthening customer service and engagement across the organization, accelerating Zendesk’s transition to AI, and improving overall operational performance. He will lead critical functions including Customer Experience (CX), IT, Enterprise Data & Analytics, and Transformation.
Craig previously served as Chief Information Officer at Zendesk, where he played a central role in modernising technology platforms and enabling scalable, data-driven operations. His broader career includes senior leadership roles as Chief Technology Officer at TriNet, extensive CIO and SVP responsibilities at Hewlett-Packard, and advisory and board positions with Permira and Drover AI.
With deep experience spanning technology, operations, and large-scale transformation, Craig Flower’s appointment as COO is expected to further strengthen Zendesk’s execution capabilities as it scales AI-powered customer service globally.
