Maninder Bharadwaj has been appointed Senior Vice President and Managing Director, India, at Optiv. In this role, he will lead Optiv’s India operations, focusing on scaling the company’s cybersecurity consulting, advisory, and managed security services capabilities while strengthening its presence across global and regional markets.
Based in Bengaluru, Maninder will be responsible for driving Optiv’s growth strategy in India, building high-performing teams, deepening client partnerships, and aligning delivery excellence with Optiv’s global vision. His appointment reflects Optiv’s continued investment in India as a strategic hub for cybersecurity expertise, innovation, and client delivery.
Prior to joining Optiv, Maninder served as Chief Information Security Officer at Providence India, where he led enterprise-wide cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance initiatives for a large global healthcare ecosystem. Before that, he was Global Business Head – Cyber Security and Risk Management at Tech Mahindra, overseeing cybersecurity strategy, consulting, and practice growth across international markets.
Maninder brings deep consulting and leadership experience from his long tenure at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP, where he spent over a decade as Partner, Cyber Risk – Risk Advisory. At Deloitte, he advised large enterprises on cyber risk, information security, IT audit, and enterprise risk management, and played a key role in building and scaling the firm’s cyber risk practice in India. Earlier in his career, he also worked with Deloitte in the US, as well as with Hewlett-Packard and Microland in security architecture and consulting roles.
With more than two decades of experience across cybersecurity strategy, consulting, enterprise risk, and leadership, Maninder Bharadwaj’s appointment significantly strengthens Optiv’s leadership team and underscores the company’s commitment to helping organizations navigate increasingly complex cyber threats with confidence and resilience.
