Pankaj Gupta has been appointed as Chief Digital Officer at Ujjivan Small Finance Bank, where he will lead the bank’s digital strategy, innovation, and transformation initiatives.
With a strong background in driving digital and analytics-led business outcomes, Pankaj will focus on building scalable digital capabilities to enhance customer experience, optimize cost structures, and enable high-velocity market access through partnerships.
Prior to this, he served as Chief Digital & Marketing Officer at Karnataka Bank, where he played a key role in transforming the bank into a future-ready digital organization by driving adoption, improving operational efficiency, and leveraging analytics for growth.
He has also held leadership roles such as COO – South & Growth Initiatives at Sify Technologies and Senior Vice President at HCL Infosystems, contributing to enterprise transformation, cloud adoption, and ecosystem-led growth strategies.
Earlier in his career, he spent over a decade at Wipro, leading large-scale business, alliances, and infrastructure services across regions.
In his new role at Ujjivan Small Finance Bank, Pankaj is expected to drive digital innovation, strengthen analytics-led decision-making, and build a robust framework for sustainable, technology-driven growth.
