Abhishek Gupta has joined Kong Inc. as Managing Director, India, taking on responsibility for driving the company’s growth, sales strategy and market development in the country.
Before joining Kong, Abhishek served as Managing Director, India at SailPoint, where he led the company’s India operations for more than three years.
Prior to SailPoint, he held leadership roles at Zscaler, including Regional Vice President and Regional Director, Enterprise Business for India & SAARC. He was responsible for revenue growth, team scaling, customer relationships and driving the company’s enterprise business across the region.
Abhishek also spent more than seven years at Gartner, holding several senior sales leadership positions. As Sales Director, he led the CIO and CEO Advisory sales function across North and East India, working closely with C-suite leaders on their strategic priorities.
Earlier in his career, he held sales and business development roles at McAfee, Wipro Infotech, HCL Infosystems and KG Networks, building extensive experience across enterprise sales, channel development, account management and business growth.
With more than two decades of experience in technology sales, enterprise business development, cybersecurity and strategic account leadership, Abhishek Gupta brings strong market and sales leadership to his new role as Managing Director, India at Kong.
