Thales Cyber Summit: Thales introduces new AI-powered cybersecurity solutions to protect organisations and societies against emerging threats

Cybersecurity takes centre stage in Paris today, as Thales brings together industry leaders and the wider community for its Cyber Summit, an event dedicated to exploring how the threat landscape is evolving and how organisations can stay ahead.

Under the theme “HALFWAY IS NO WAY,” this Summit sends a clear message: when it comes to cybersecurity, there can be no half measures. Protecting what matters most means securing critical applications, data and identities, wherever they are and whenever threats arise – across every layer that organisations rely on.

Bringing together leading cyber experts and a powerful line-up of live demonstrations, the Summit showcases the latest cybersecurity innovations. As artificial intelligence, quantum computing and automation transform both the nature and speed of cyber threats, Thales is putting cutting-edge technologies into action – from detecting deepfakes and deploying governed AI agents to preparing for the post-quantum era and delivering advanced cyber protection. In short, not just talking about the future of cybersecurity, but demonstrating it.

This Summit also marks a new milestone in Thales’ acceleration in cybersecurity, with the launch of five major applications and solutions designed to address the rapidly evolving cyber threat landscape:

  • Luna 8, Thales’ new hardware security module designed to help organisations protect their critical data against the emerging quantum computing threat, leveraging advanced post-quantum cryptography.
  • CipherTrust Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) Thales’ new solution, boosted by AI, helping organisations identify and protect sensitive data, finding immediate and automatic mitigations.
  • Sentinel Envelope+, Thales’ advanced software protection against new AI-powered attacks.
  • A new partnership with Google Cloudto help organisations secure their agentic AI operations with Thales’ AI Security Fabric; a unified approach designed to protect AI agents, data and interactions across the AI lifecycle.
  • A new global cybersecurity approach designed to stay ahead of AI-driven threats and respond at machine speed, combining advanced technologies, real-time threat intelligence and deep cyber expertise to anticipate, detect and respond to increasingly sophisticated and automated attacks.

“Cybersecurity has never been more at the core of the sustainability and resilience of our societies. At a time when AI is advancing at extraordinary speed, we are in a period of profound transformation; one that brings real risks, but also enormous potential for progress. Cybersecurity has a critical role to play in making that future secure, and thus, possible,” commented Philippe Vallée, EVP Cyber & Digital Identity at Thales. “By securing the technologies we develop and the data, applications, identities and infrastructure on which they rely, we can build the trust needed to embrace innovation. In that sense, cybersecurity is not about protecting ourselves from the future; it is about giving society today the tools to move towards it.”
