Aliasgar Karachiwala has stepped into the role of Head – Digital, Channels & Experience at RBL Bank, marking a new milestone in his two-decade-long career in banking technology, digital transformation, and customer experience innovation.
In this new capacity, Aliasgar will lead the bank’s digital vision—enhancing and unifying customer journeys across platforms, driving adoption of intuitive and secure digital channels, and leveraging data, automation, and emerging technologies to deliver personalized and seamless banking experiences.
Over the last 6.5+ years at RBL Bank, Aliasgar has been instrumental in some of the most transformative initiatives, including setting up Centers of Excellence in AI, RPA, and Low Code No Code (LCNC), implementing CRM and automation frameworks, and digitizing over 270 processes—resulting in substantial efficiency gains and cost savings exceeding INR 600 million annually. His leadership has also helped improve First Time Right metrics from 47% to 92%, reduce turnaround times, and elevate NPS and CSAT scores significantly.
Prior to RBL Bank, Aliasgar held leadership positions at AU Small Finance Bank, Axis Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Oracle Financial Services Software, where he drove multiple digital transformation and customer experience programs across retail and corporate banking.
