Irina Ghose has been appointed Managing Director – India at Anthropic, marking a significant milestone in the company’s expansion and long-term commitment to the Indian market.
Irina brings over two decades of leadership experience across enterprise technology, cloud, AI, and digital transformation. Most recently, she served as Managing Director, Microsoft India, where she led industry-wide engagements focused on AI-led innovation, large-scale digital transformation, and business outcomes for customers across sectors.
During her distinguished tenure at Microsoft, Irina held several senior leadership roles including Chief Operating Officer, Microsoft India, and led key portfolios spanning Azure, AI, Cloud Solutions, Modern Workplace, Security, and Education. She played a pivotal role in shaping Microsoft’s growth strategy in India and advancing responsible AI adoption at scale.
Beyond corporate leadership, Irina is also the Founder of MyLittleBit, a philanthropic initiative dedicated to education, digital literacy, and employment opportunities for underprivileged girls, and serves as a Trustee at SonderConnect, supporting women founders globally.
At Anthropic, Irina will focus on building the India presence, deepening ecosystem partnerships, and advancing safe, responsible, and impactful AI adoption aligned with Anthropic’s mission.
