Devesh Verma has taken on the role of Chief Digital Officer (CDO) at Bank of Maharashtra, where he will lead digital transformation, innovation, and technology-driven growth initiatives across the bank.
With deep expertise in digital banking, product development, and IT strategy, Devesh brings a strong track record of building scalable platforms and driving enterprise-wide transformation programs. Prior to this, he served as Deputy Chief Technology Officer at Poonawalla Fincorp, focusing on innovation, governance, and large-scale technology implementation.
He has also held leadership roles at Kotak Mahindra Bank and State Bank of India, where he contributed to digital banking initiatives, API banking, product strategy, and fintech collaborations.
Earlier in his career, he spent over a decade at ICICI Bank, leading technology programs across treasury, trade finance, and retail lending platforms, driving operational efficiency and innovation.
In his new role at Bank of Maharashtra, Devesh is expected to accelerate digital adoption, enhance customer-centric platforms, and strengthen the bank’s technology ecosystem to support future-ready banking services.
