EY has appointed Timothy Monson as its Global Chief Information Officer and Enterprise Technology Leader, strengthening the firm’s global technology leadership at a time of continued digital and operational transformation.
In this role, Timothy will lead enterprise-wide technology strategy, platforms, and operations, with a focus on enabling scale, resilience, and innovation across EY’s global business. His mandate includes aligning technology with business outcomes, modernising core platforms, and supporting EY’s growth through secure, high-performing enterprise systems.
Timothy brings over three decades of technology and leadership experience across professional services, consulting, and global enterprises. He has spent more than 13 years at EY, most recently serving as Deputy CIO and earlier as Principal/Partner and Global Leader – Finance Information Technology, where he led the transformation of EY’s global financial management platforms in complex, multi-platform environments.
Prior to EY, his career includes senior leadership roles such as Chief Technology Officer at Navigant, Managing Director at AgileThought, and Director of Global IT Operations at BearingPoint, along with extensive global experience at Arthur Andersen.
This appointment reinforces EY’s focus on enterprise-scale transformation, technology excellence, and business-aligned innovation across its global operations.
