Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has appointed Nilotpal Kumar Dutta as Senior Director – Industry Vertical Sales and Account Management, reinforcing its leadership focus across India’s key enterprise and public sector segments.
In his expanded role, Dutta will lead industry vertical sales and overall account management for the India geography, covering a broad spectrum of sectors including Manufacturing and Distribution, Conglomerates, IT & ITES, Oil & Gas (including PSUs), Public Sector (Central and State Governments), Telecom, Media & Entertainment, BFSI, and Digital Native businesses.
A veteran of over two decades at HPE, Dutta brings deep institutional knowledge and consistent execution strength. Most recently, he served as Director – Hybrid Cloud Solutions, where he led the India business for HPE GreenLake, Private Cloud, software assets, and managed services, with full responsibility for orders, revenue, and P&L.
Earlier, as Director – GreenLake Cloud Services, he played a pivotal role in scaling HPE’s edge-to-cloud, consumption-based platform strategy in India, accelerating enterprise adoption of as-a-service models. His prior leadership roles include heading the Manufacturing & Distribution industry vertical, managing global accounts, and leading the South region enterprise business, spanning both direct and SMB segments.
Before joining HPE, Dutta held enterprise leadership roles at Wipro Infotech and HCL Hewlett Packard, building strong expertise across OEM-led enterprise sales, large account management, and public sector engagements.
This appointment underscores HPE’s continued focus on industry-led go-to-market execution, deep customer relationships, and scalable growth across India’s evolving enterprise landscape.
