Jitesh Patel has stepped into the role of Senior Vice President, Head Digital RE West (India & Middle East) at Sembcorp Industries Ltd. With a rich career spanning nearly three decades in IT, digital transformation, and renewable energy, Jitesh will lead Sembcorp’s digital and renewable energy strategy across India and the Middle East.
Over his 8 years at Sembcorp, Jitesh has held critical leadership positions including Senior Vice President, Head IT, where he spearheaded large-scale IT transformations, cloud adoption, and cyber risk management. His expertise extends across mobile automation, enterprise resource planning (ERP), sustainability, and driving digital innovation for energy operations.
Before joining Sembcorp, Jitesh gained extensive experience with leading organizations including Thermal Powertech Corporation India, Adhunik Group of Industries, Essar Steel, Philips, Crompton Greaves, and Hero Cycles. His career highlights include managing SAP full-cycle rollouts, large-scale data analysis, business process re-engineering, and IT security implementation.
