Kanodia Group Appoints Amman Walia as Group Chief Information Officer

Amman Walia has been appointed Group Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Kanodia Group, marking a strategic leadership move as the Group accelerates its digital and technology-led transformation initiatives.

In his new role, Amman will lead the Group’s overall IT strategy, digital transformation roadmap, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, and governance frameworks across businesses. His mandate includes driving technology-enabled efficiency, strengthening data and ERP platforms, advancing AI and automation adoption, and aligning IT closely with business growth objectives.

Prior to joining Kanodia Group, Amman held senior technology leadership positions at Wonder Cement, where he served as Associate Vice President and earlier as General Manager, spearheading large-scale digital transformation programs, ERP implementations, IT governance, and infrastructure modernization. He also briefly served as Group CIO at a confidential organization, further strengthening his group-level leadership exposure.

Earlier in his career, he worked as IT Head at GR Infra Project Limited and held multiple progressive roles at Wonder Cement, building deep expertise across manufacturing, infrastructure, and enterprise IT environments. He began his professional journey in technology roles at Spark Digital NZ and Vardhman Polytex Limited, developing strong foundations in systems, applications, and project delivery.

With extensive experience spanning digital transformation, ERP, IT governance, cybersecurity, and enterprise-scale technology leadership, Amman Walia’s appointment is expected to play a pivotal role in advancing Kanodia Group’s digital maturity and long-term strategic growth.
