Karishhma Kumar has been appointed as Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Škoda Auto Volkswagen India, taking charge of the company’s technology, digital transformation, and IT leadership agenda in India.
In her new role, Karishhma will focus on driving enterprise-wide digital transformation, strengthening IT governance, enabling manufacturing and customer-centric digital platforms, and aligning technology strategy with the group’s business priorities across India operations.
Prior to this appointment, Karishhma held senior technology leadership roles at Beiersdorf and Otis Elevator Company, where she led digital technology initiatives across India and APAC manufacturing, managed GCC operations, and delivered measurable outcomes across cloud adoption, service excellence, and emerging technologies.
Earlier in her career, she spent over a decade with Tata Motors and Tata Motors Insurance Broking and Advisory Services Ltd., playing a pivotal role in CRM transformation, digital-first platforms, and large-scale IT programs supporting dealers, customers, and enterprise operations.
Her appointment reinforces Škoda Auto Volkswagen India’s continued focus on technology-led growth, digital manufacturing, and customer experience transformation.
