Mandar Ghatnekar has started a new position as Chief Technology Officer at Biocon, where he will lead technology strategy, digital transformation, and innovation initiatives across the organization.
Prior to this role, he served as Global Head of IT & Digital Transformation at Biocon Biologics, where he played a key role in integrating emerging technologies such as AI and cloud to enhance operational efficiency and enable data-driven decision-making across global healthcare systems.
Mandar brings over two decades of experience across life sciences, consulting, and enterprise technology. He previously held leadership roles at Accenture, where he managed large-scale digital transformation programs, built cloud and data solution capabilities, and led multi-million-dollar engagements for global clients.
Earlier in his career, he worked with Johnson & Johnson and Infosys, contributing to IT strategy, systems integration, and life sciences innovation initiatives.
In his new role at Biocon, Mandar is expected to accelerate digital innovation, strengthen technology platforms, and support the company’s mission of improving patient outcomes through advanced and accessible healthcare solutions.
