National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) has appointed Devendra Pareek as its Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), strengthening the organization’s focus on cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and digital trust across India’s skilling and workforce ecosystem.
In his new role, Pareek will lead enterprise-wide information security strategy, cyber risk management, and governance, ensuring secure, resilient, and compliant digital platforms that support NSDC’s large-scale national mandate.
Prior to joining NSDC, Pareek served as Chief Information Security Officer at Clix Capital, where he led cybersecurity and risk strategy for NBFC operations, driving governance, application security, and regulatory alignment.
Earlier, at AU Small Finance Bank, he played a key role in regulatory compliance, IT audits, cybersecurity assessments, and incident response, working closely with senior leadership and regulators including RBI, NPCI, and IRDAI.
Pareek also brings strong hands-on experience in IT infrastructure modernization, cloud security, data center and DR strategy, SOC implementation, and network security, gained through leadership roles at Kogta Financial (India) Limited and earlier technical roles at IBM.
With a career spanning financial services, public sector, and large-scale digital infrastructure, his appointment underscores NSDC’s commitment to robust cybersecurity governance, risk resilience, and secure digital transformation at national scale.
