Gaurang Vora has joined GlobalPay WSFx as Senior Vice President & Head of Technology, taking charge of the company’s technology transformation and digital modernization agenda.
In his new role, Gaurang will lead the modernization of GlobalPay WSFx’s core forex systems, digital channels, integrations, and data platforms. His mandate includes defining and executing a clear technology strategy aligned with business growth, regulatory expectations, and customer experience, while ensuring the technology environment remains secure, stable, and scalable. A key focus area will be strengthening ecosystem partnerships through robust API architectures and driving practical adoption of AI, automation, and analytics to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making. He will also work closely with business and operations leaders to translate strategic objectives into reliable, production-grade systems and build high-performing technology teams with a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
Before joining GlobalPay WSFx, Gaurang served as Senior Vice President – IT at SBI Life Insurance, where he was part of the senior technology leadership. Prior to that, he spent over three years at Spice Money as Head – Transformation & PMO, playing a pivotal role in fintech modernization, IT governance, and large-scale program execution. During this period, he led the transition from legacy systems to modern microservices-based architectures and delivered high-impact banking, payments, and lending platforms.
Earlier in his career, Gaurang held senior program and technology leadership roles at LRN, Anunta Tech, and Dimension Data, where he drove enterprise-scale digital transformation, PMO setup, agile adoption, and complex IT programs across fintech, edtech, government, and enterprise environments. He also served in a leadership role with the PMO Global Alliance, contributing to the advancement of PMO and agile practices in India.
With deep expertise spanning fintech platforms, enterprise architecture, IT governance, PMO leadership, and digital transformation, Gaurang Vora’s appointment is expected to play a key role in strengthening GlobalPay WSFx’s technology foundation and supporting its next phase of scalable and resilient growth.
