Harshneel Nanche has taken over as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at PayU Finance India Private Limited, strengthening the fintech’s security, risk, and compliance posture as it scales its digital financial services ecosystem.
In his new role, Nanche will lead enterprise-wide information security strategy, cyber risk management, regulatory compliance, and incident response, ensuring secure and resilient platforms across PayU Finance’s operations.
Prior to joining PayU Finance, he served as vCISO at Airtel Digital, where he provided strategic cybersecurity leadership spanning governance, cloud security, third-party risk, audits, and business continuity planning.
Earlier, Nanche held senior information security roles at Piramal Capital & Housing Finance Limited and Vodafone Idea Limited, managing GRC, regulatory compliance (PCI DSS, ISO 27001, data privacy), security operations, and large-scale incident management.
His background also includes risk advisory and consulting experience with Deloitte India, Genpact, and FIS, alongside early banking exposure at State Bank of India.
With deep expertise across fintech, telecom, BFSI, and consulting, Nanche’s appointment underscores PayU Finance’s focus on robust cybersecurity governance and regulatory readiness in an increasingly complex threat landscape.
