Rajkumar Punna has been promoted to the role of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Vistaar Financial Services Pvt. Ltd., marking a significant leadership milestone in the company’s cybersecurity and risk management journey.
In his new role, Rajkumar will lead Vistaar’s enterprise-wide information security strategy, with responsibility for strengthening cyber resilience, governance, risk and compliance frameworks, cloud and infrastructure security, and regulatory adherence across the organisation.
Prior to this elevation, he served as Head – Information Security at Vistaar Financial Services, where he defined and executed the enterprise security roadmap aligned with business objectives. His responsibilities included cloud security governance on AWS, SOC operations, application and infrastructure security, VAPT, DLP, identity and access controls, and ensuring compliance with RBI, CERT-In, ISO, SOC 2, NIST, and ITGC requirements. He also played a key role in driving security awareness, service resilience, budgeting, vendor management, and building high-performing InfoSec teams.
Before joining Vistaar, Rajkumar spent over five years at Kinara Capital, holding leadership roles including Divisional Head – Systems (IT Infrastructure & Information Security), where he led IT infrastructure, cybersecurity operations, IT GRC, cloud operations, and large-scale technology programs.
Earlier in his career, he worked with NTT Ltd. as IT Service Delivery Manager, managing global and PAN-India IT service delivery across financial services, pharma, manufacturing, retail, and automotive sectors. He also held regional IT leadership roles at Manappuram Finance Limited, overseeing infrastructure, applications, SLA governance, and large distributed branch networks.
With deep expertise across cybersecurity leadership, cloud security, IT governance, and large-scale IT operations, Rajkumar Punna’s elevation to CISO is expected to further strengthen Vistaar Financial Services’ security posture as the organisation continues to scale its digital and financial services footprint.
