Shekhar Thakurdesai has taken on a new role as Country Manager – India & SAARC at Semperis, where he will lead the company’s regional growth strategy and strengthen its cybersecurity presence across the India and SAARC markets.
In his new role, Shekhar will drive go-to-market strategy, enterprise customer engagement, and partner ecosystem development as Semperis expands its identity-driven cyber resilience solutions across the region.
Prior to joining Semperis, he worked at Wiz, contributing to enterprise sales and regional market development. Before that, he spent more than four years at Recorded Future, where he held leadership roles including Sales Director – GSI and MSSP, driving strategic partnerships and enterprise security adoption.
Earlier in his career, Shekhar served as Sales Lead – CSP & SP at Palo Alto Networks, focusing on service provider and cloud security solutions. He also held roles at Intel and Cisco, where he worked on cloud and managed services sales.
His earlier experience also includes roles at Huawei and Nortel Networks, along with an early career role in network planning at Reliance Communications.
With over two decades of experience spanning cybersecurity, cloud, telecom, and enterprise technology sales, Shekhar Thakurdesai’s appointment highlights Semperis’ focus on strengthening its leadership and expanding cyber resilience capabilities across the India and SAARC region.
