With a distinguished career spanning over four decades, Som brings unparalleled expertise in enterprise leadership, sales transformation, and building resilient go-to-market strategies across India’s technology landscape.
Prior to this appointment, Som held pivotal leadership positions at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where he served as Senior Vice President & Managing Director – India, driving HPE’s business strategy, digital transformation initiatives, and high-performing sales operations for nearly a decade. Over his 30+ years at Hewlett Packard and Compaq, he steered multiple business divisions including enterprise servers, storage, networking, and enterprise sales, playing a critical role in shaping the company’s market leadership in India.
Earlier in his career, Som contributed significantly to leading organizations such as PCL, Fujitsu ICIM, Tata Elxsi, and DCM Data Systems, where he honed his skills in sales leadership and market expansion.
