Tushar Zade has joined Granules India Limited as Chief Transformation Officer, reinforcing the company’s focus on digital innovation, AI adoption, and process excellence.
In this role, Tushar will lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, driving business process re-engineering, AI-led innovation, and large-scale digital programs aimed at improving operational efficiency and long-term growth.
Prior to this, he served as CIO/CDO (Head – Digital & Process Excellence) at Aurigene Pharmaceutical Services Limited, where he played a key role in building an AI-first CRDMO model. His responsibilities included managing IT operations, ensuring audit readiness, and leading digital transformation across the pharmaceutical value chain.
Earlier, at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, he led multiple global transformation initiatives, including SAP S/4HANA programs, supply chain automation, and master data governance. He also managed large-scale programs such as global drug serialization, involving cross-functional teams and international partners.
He began his career with roles at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India and Bennett Cole, and also had an entrepreneurial stint as Founder & CEO of Shopsted, an e-commerce venture.
With deep expertise in digital transformation, AI, SAP programs, and process excellence, Tushar Zade’s appointment highlights Granules India’s strategic focus on becoming a future-ready, technology-driven pharmaceutical organization.
