Kinjal Shah appointed Chief Technology Officer at Central Depository Services India Ltd

Kinjal Shah has been appointed Chief Technology Officer at Central Depository Services India Ltd.

Prior to joining Central Depository Services India Ltd, Shah served as Chief Technology Officer at YES SECURITIES, where he held the position since September 2023.

Before YES SECURITIES, Shah was with Edelweiss Global Markets, where he held roles including Principal and Vice President. His responsibilities included structured products, risk management solutions, trade enrichment and algo risk, enterprise applications, and software engineering practices.

Shah spent more than seven years with the National Stock Exchange of India, progressing through roles including Associate Vice President, Chief Manager and Senior Manager. He managed application portfolios for external-facing platforms, overseeing more than 20 applications across multiple markets and exchanges.

During his tenure at NSE, Shah spearheaded digital transformation initiatives involving architecture redesign, API portals, UI/UX improvements, fintech integration and CI/CD implementation. He also led the development of single sign-on and microservices-based platforms and worked on blockchain-based e-voting solutions.

Earlier, Shah served as Senior Project Manager at Chenoa Information Services, where he managed projects for a healthcare-sector client and led a team of around 80 professionals across multiple projects.

He began his career in application development, holding roles at ICE and JPMorgan Chase, where he worked on market data platforms, web applications, enterprise portals and technology solutions for financial services.

With extensive experience across technology leadership, application management, digital transformation, financial services platforms and software engineering, Shah brings a strong technology background to his new role at Central Depository Services India Ltd.
