Bosch Software and Digital Solutions (Bosch SDS), under the legal entity Bosch Global Software Technologies Pvt Ltd., and NxtGen announced a strategic partnership to launch India’s Sovereign Industrial AI Cloud. This collaboration will empower Indian enterprises with secure, compliant, and high-performance AI and Industry 4.0 solutions, hosted entirely within India.
This collaboration brings together Bosch SDS’s industry-leading manufacturing AI solutions – Industry 4.0, Digital Twin, simulation and engineering platforms – with NxtGen’s multi-region sovereign cloud, private cloud, Edge Data Center capabilities and advanced GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) offerings. The partnership will enable enterprises in India to deploy high-performance AI workloads with full compliance to data residency, security, and industry regulatory requirements.
With the partnership, both companies will collaborate to pursue enterprise opportunities and deliver integrated AI, managed infrastructure, edge, and engineering-led AI solutions, including joint go-to-market (GTM) initiatives, sector-specific co-creation, and commercial governance frameworks.
As part of this initiative, Bosch SDS and NxtGen will jointly conceptualize and take to market a “Digital Twin – Manufacturing Cloud,” integrating NxtGen’s sovereign infrastructure and orchestration stack with Bosch SDS’s Industry 4.0, IoT, simulation, and engineering capabilities.
The joint initiative will support AI-enabled manufacturing intelligence, predictive maintenance and asset optimization, edge-to-cloud industrial data orchestration, and secure, compliant industrial AI workloads.
This architecture enables Indian manufacturers to modernize operations while maintaining control over sensitive operational data, including edge-deployed environments managed through centralized orchestration and remote monitoring frameworks.
Managed infrastructure and AI platform capabilities
With this agreement, NxtGen will provide managed GPU infrastructure services, including provisioning, lifecycle management, 24/7 monitoring, security management, performance optimization, and Kubernetes-based orchestration for AI workloads. Bosch SDS will contribute domain-led AI applications, platform engineering, and solution integration capabilities.
The collaboration also includes joint go-to-market strategies, co-creation of sector-specific solutions, and flexible deployment models.
Ramesh Ramaswamy, Chief Revenue Officer at Bosch SDS, highlighted the practical benefits for customers. “The partnership includes flexible deployment models, such as Edge Data Center and Cloud-at-Customer models, enabling GPU infrastructure to be deployed at customer premises while being centrally managed,” he stated. “We will guide customers beyond traditional digital transformation, integrating AI/ML use cases into an ‘agentic AI’ journey for truly cognitive enterprises, focusing on AI model orchestration, inferencing pipelines, and performance tuning within this managed GPU environment.”
Elaborating on the market imperative driving the collaboration, A S Rajgopal, MD & CEO of NxtGen, said, “In manufacturing and retail, AI is rapidly evolving from dashboards to real-time operational control. That shift requires infrastructure that is local, predictable, and production-grade. By hosting Bosch SDS’s platforms on NxtGen, we are redefining how AI is deployed in India, from experimental workloads to sovereign, mission-critical systems.”
