Deepak Gupta has been appointed Group Chief Technology & AI Officer (CTAIO) at Automotive Manufacturers Private Limited (AMPL), where he will lead the group’s technology, product, data, and artificial intelligence strategy across its diversified automotive and mobility businesses.
In his new role, Deepak will be responsible for building a future-ready, AI-native enterprise, driving digital and platform modernisation across new car retail, commercial operations, workshops, finance, insurance, and digital commerce. His mandate includes enterprise platforms, product-led digital experiences, AI and GenAI adoption, data and analytics transformation, multi-cloud engineering excellence, cybersecurity, and large-scale organisational transformation.
Prior to joining AMPL, Deepak served as Chief Technology Officer at CARS24, where he led technology for FinTech and NBFC platforms, focusing on scalable architectures, AI-driven decision systems, regulatory compliance, and platform modernisation.
Earlier, he held senior leadership roles including Group Head of Architecture at Airtel Africa and Global Head of Architecture at G4S, delivering enterprise-scale digital transformation, cloud-native platforms, payments modernisation, data and AI solutions, and governance frameworks across regulated environments.
Deepak is also a Member Leader at the Forbes Technology Council, contributing thought leadership on technology strategy, AI adoption, and engineering excellence.
