Dr. Devam R Shah has been appointed Chief Agentic Security Officer at Fynd, the Reliance Group company, based in Mumbai. In his new role, he is focused on transforming the enterprise security and privacy function into an AI-native organization.
At Fynd, Shah’s mandate spans security strategy, privacy and GRC, application security and VAPT, corporate security, identity, detection and incident response, third-party assurance, audits and team development across the organization’s commerce technology ecosystem.
His role includes leading Enterprise Security and Privacy Platform Engineering and driving Agentic Security Intelligence and Automation. This covers the use of AI agents, enterprise knowledge graphs, GraphRAG, agentic RAG, multi-agent orchestration and MCP-connected tools for security investigations, automation and coordinated action.
Prior to joining Fynd, Shah served as CISO and DPO at Locus, where he led global security, privacy and compliance for a cloud-native logistics platform operating across more than 30 jurisdictions. He also led security due diligence following the Ingka Group acquisition of Locus, driving remediation of more than 70,000 vulnerabilities, SOC 2 Type II certification and automated GRC workflows.
Before Locus, Shah was CISO and Head of IT at Teachmint, where he led IT, security, privacy and compliance for a global edtech SaaS platform. He built security, privacy and IT functions from the ground up and implemented a Secure SDLC with automated security testing across CI/CD pipelines.
Earlier, he served as Head of Information Security at Great Learning, where he led security and privacy across a global edtech platform, and as Chief Information Security Officer at Meditab Software, where he managed security transformation, incident response, DevSecOps, OT/IoT security and global compliance programs.
Shah began his corporate cybersecurity career at Tata Consultancy Services, progressing through Information Security Analyst, Information Security Officer and Information Security Manager roles, with experience spanning security architecture, SOC operations, incident response, DevSecOps and enterprise security transformation.
