Pankaj Pawar has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer at Jio Platforms.
In his new role, he will lead Jio Platforms’ strategic vision, overseeing business growth, digital innovation, technology-led transformation, and the expansion of the company’s digital ecosystem while strengthening its leadership across telecommunications, cloud, AI, enterprise services, and next-generation digital platforms.
Prior to this appointment, he served as Business Head at Jio, a role he held since April 2014. Over more than 12 years, he played a pivotal role in building and scaling the business, contributing to the rapid expansion of Jio’s digital and telecom ecosystem, driving strategic initiatives, business operations, customer growth, and large-scale market expansion.
With over a decade of leadership experience at Jio, he brings deep expertise in telecommunications, digital platforms, business strategy, operational excellence, customer-centric innovation, and large-scale business transformation. His extensive understanding of Jio’s business and technology ecosystem positions him well to lead the company’s next phase of innovation and sustained growth as Chief Executive Officer.
