Kavitha Srinivasulu has been appointed Field CISO at Persistent Systems, effective September 2026. In her new role, she will work closely with customers, C-suite executives and leadership teams across risk advisory, AI security, security engineering and digital transformation, helping organisations address emerging technology risks and adopt AI with security, resilience and trust at the core.
Prior to joining Persistent Systems, Srinivasulu served as Program Director – Cybersecurity and Data Privacy, Process Optimization and Digital Transformation at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in London. She also held roles in cybersecurity services and security architecture, as well as Global Head of Cyber Risk and Data Privacy for the BFSI sector.
Before TCS, she was Vice President and Head of Cybersecurity at GAVS Technologies, where she worked as a techno-functional leader and solution architect. She also served as Associate Director and Head of Cyber Security Resilience and Data Privacy at AstraZeneca.
Earlier in her career, Srinivasulu held leadership positions at Wipro and HCL Technologies, focusing on cybersecurity, risk management, governance and compliance. At Wipro, she served as a Delivery Assurance Leader within the Cyber Security and Risk Services function, while at HCL Technologies, she was part of the CRO leadership team, working across risk and compliance.
She also spent nearly five years at Bank of America as Senior Manager of Operations, managing vendor technology management, governance, risk and compliance, global business resilience and security controls. Her earlier experience includes roles at Verizon and Wipro, where she worked across risk controls, security operations, software engineering and service delivery.
Alongside her corporate responsibilities, Srinivasulu contributes to the cybersecurity community through leadership and advisory roles. She is an Advisory Member of the National Cyber Defence Research Centre, a Board Member of Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS) India, an ISAC Ambassador and an Executive Committee Member of the CyberEdBoard Community.
With extensive experience in cybersecurity, AI security, data privacy, risk management and digital transformation, Srinivasulu brings a broad technology and leadership background to her new role at Persistent Systems.
