Kiran Belsekar has joined Mahindra Manulife Insurance Ltd as Head – Technology Governance
In his new role, Belsekar is focused on building a simple, customer-first, AI-native and digitally led insurer. His responsibilities include driving digital transformation, intelligent automation, data-led decision making and scalable technology platforms to enhance customer experience and business growth.
Prior to joining Mahindra Manulife Insurance, Belsekar served as Executive Vice President – Technology, Security at Bandhan Life, where he spent over six years across senior technology and security leadership roles. He was responsible for building digital solutions for employees, partners and customers, driving technology-led business transformation, and strengthening cybersecurity and privacy practices.
Before Bandhan Life, Belsekar served as SVP – Head Information Technology & Cyber Security at ENAM, providing strategic technology direction and overseeing software development, technology infrastructure, cloud and IT operations, audits and compliance, and information and cybersecurity across India, Singapore and Dubai.
Earlier, he held technology and information security leadership positions at PNB MetLife India Insurance, Sony Entertainment Television and IndiaFirst Life Insurance. At IndiaFirst Life Insurance, he was involved in designing and implementing IT systems, information security, data centre, networks and infrastructure, while also leading initiatives around enterprise mobility, risk management, business continuity and disaster recovery.
Belsekar began his career in IT and infrastructure roles at Reliance Life Insurance, Future Group, Siemens Information Systems and Micro Clinic, building extensive experience across IT operations, applications, infrastructure, SAP, network management, security and service management.
