Magic Bus India Foundation Unlocks Pathways to Employment for Delhi’s Youth Through the ‘Get Into’ Programme.

Magic Bus India Foundation, one of India’s leading NGOs in education and skilling, in partnership with King’s Trust International (KTI), is transforming the future of Delhi’s youth through its ‘Get Into’ programme. The programme is an immersive, employer-led skilling initiative designed to bridge the education-to-employment gap for young people from underserved communities. Till date, the programme has reached over 3500 youth across key locations including Jaitpur, Ganesh Nagar, and Kirti Nagar achieving a placement rate of about 70%, with 55% women participation.

The Get Into programme equips young people with critical life, employability, and sector-specific skills to confidently step into sustainable employment. Through a blend of classroom sessions, industry exposure, and hands-on learning, young people gain both professional readiness and self-belief to build meaningful careers in high-demand sectors such as BFSI, Retail, and IT-ITeS. Each cohort undergoes eight weeks of transformative training, followed by job placements with reputed employers and continued mentorship to support retention and career progression.

The ‘Get Into’ curriculum continues to evolve, now integrating green and climate-conscious modules, digital skills, and three months of post-placement support to help young people build sustainable careers. Trainers receive structured capacity-building, while alumni networks provide ongoing mentorship and peer learning. By equipping young people with the skills and confidence to make informed career and life choices, the initiative empowers them to support their families, break the cycle of poverty, and become role models within their communities.

The Magic Bus–KTI partnership, represents one of India’s most successful global development collaborations in youth skilling. With a strong emphasis on employer engagement, gender inclusion, and sustainability, the programme now runs across Delhi, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru. Since its inception in India, the Get Into programme has reached over 17,800 youth nationwide.
