Manish Malik has started a new position as Executive Director (AI-ML) at Indian Oil Corp Limited.
In this role, he will lead AI and machine learning initiatives across the organization, focusing on enterprise intelligence, digital transformation, automation, predictive analytics, and technology-driven operational excellence.
Prior to this, he served as Executive Director (Information Systems) at Indian Oil Corporation Limited, where he led enterprise IT strategy and digital modernization initiatives.
Earlier, he was IT Head at Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Marketing Division, Mumbai, overseeing technology operations and digital transformation programs across the division.
Before that, he served as General Manager (IT) and IT Infrastructure Head at Indian Oil Corporation Limited (Marketing Division), leading infrastructure modernization and enterprise IT operations.
He also worked as General Manager(IT) & IT Head at Ratnagiri Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited, where he defined the IT roadmap and digital strategy for one of the world’s largest upcoming refinery and petrochemical projects.
Earlier in his career at Indian Oil, he held leadership roles including General Manager(IT) & IT Infrastructure Head, DGM(IT) & Software Group Head, and Chief Manager(IT) & SAP Techno-Functional Lead, driving SAP implementations, ECC upgrades, software development, infrastructure transformation, and customized digital solutions for the oil industry.
He began his journey with Indian Oil in systems and programming roles across the Marketing Division, contributing to OLTP systems design, implementation, testing, and end-user enablement in the pre-SAP era.
Before joining Indian Oil, he worked as Programmer at Graviera Suitings, where he developed payroll systems for textile operations.
With more than three decades of experience across AI, SAP, enterprise IT, infrastructure, software engineering, and digital transformation, he brings deep expertise in building technology-driven innovation and scalable enterprise platforms.
