Alok Kumar has joined Shahi Exports Pvt Ltd as General Manager – Information Technology, strengthening the company’s technology leadership as it continues to scale operations across global markets.
In his new role, Alok will oversee enterprise IT strategy, infrastructure, applications, and digital transformation initiatives, aligning technology with business growth and operational excellence.
Prior to this appointment, he served as Head of Information Technology at Laguna Clothing Pvt Ltd, where he led IT operations and enterprise systems management.
Before that, he spent over 16 years at Jindal Aluminium Limited, progressing from Senior Executive – IT to Information Technology Manager. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in the organization’s digital transformation journey, including leading the end-to-end migration from a home-grown ERP to SAP S/4HANA.
He managed requirement gathering, process mapping, data migration, testing, and go-live support, while acting as a key IT–business liaison across finance, procurement, sales, manufacturing, and operations. He also led vendor management, SAP implementation partners, infrastructure oversight, and continuous system optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency and reporting capabilities.
With strong expertise in ERP transformation, IT operations, SAP implementation, infrastructure management, and change leadership, Alok Kumar’s move to Shahi Exports marks an important step in advancing enterprise technology capabilities within India’s apparel manufacturing sector.
