Dr. Nikhil Kumar Nigam, a NEXT100 2015 awardee, has joined Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). With a dynamic career spanning over two decades, Dr. Nigam brings rich expertise in IT business strategy, dashboarding, and enterprise technology transformation.
Prior to this, he served as CTO at IIHMR University, where he led critical digital initiatives and drove campus-wide tech modernization. He also held a long-standing leadership role as Associate Director – Technologies at Amity Education Group, overseeing digital strategy, infrastructure, and software development for over 20 years.
Beginning his career with HCL, Dr. Nigam developed core enterprise applications and MIS systems, laying a strong foundation in software and project management.
Known for building high-impact tech solutions in the education sector, Dr. Nigam’s appointment signals VGU’s deep commitment to innovation, digital-first learning, and institutional excellence. His leadership is set to accelerate the university’s vision for future-ready, tech-driven education in India.
