Physics Wallah’s Skilling Vertical Upskills 1 Lakh Youth in One Year

India’s leading ed-tech platform, Physics Wallah’s skilling vertical, PW Skills has upskilled  1 lakh learners in its maiden year 2023, with the majority falling within the age group of 18-25, PW Skills offers a variety of courses to the learners, including Data Science, Full Stack Development, Data Structure & Algorithm, which not only help them to upskill but also to transition into better employment opportunities. 

This highlights the increased demand among youth to be job-ready and equip themselves with new-age skills. A majority of these students come from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Delhi NCR. Apart from this, inclusivity remains a cornerstone of the PW Skills mission, with women constituting 20-22% of learners. A testament to the efficacy of the program is the 25,000 learners who have already obtained their certifications.

PW Skills is set to introduce an array of cutting-edge courses in 2024, including Cyber Security, UI/UX Design, Stock Market Analysis, Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI), Digital Marketing, and Product Management in its strategic expansion to diversify and enrich its educational portfolio for the learners.

The skilling ecosystem is witnessing a paradigm shift in India, where advanced technology and increased digital connectivity have dismantled traditional barriers, granting comprehensive access to training programs. The success of PW Skills highlights the relevance of its industry-ready courses coupled with real-time industry experience. 

PW Skills has helped over 12,000  people in their career transitions and an average 55% salary hike post-certification, as it offers various courses in partnership with over 400 esteemed corporations, including tech giants like Microsoft and VMware, consultancies such as Deloitte and EY, and IT firms like TCS and Infosys.
