Pravin Patil has been elevated to the role of Senior Vice President – Information Technology at IndusInd General Insurance, marking a significant milestone in his nearly 15-year journey with the organization.
Prior to this elevation, he served as Vice President – Information Technology, Head of IT Infrastructure and Chief IT Security Officer, with responsibilities spanning IT infrastructure, information security, IT governance and strategy, digital transformation, and technology innovation.
Pravin joined the organization in December 2011 as Head – IT Infrastructure and has since played a key role in managing and strengthening its enterprise technology environment.
Before joining IndusInd General Insurance, he worked as Manager – IT at Angel Broking, where he managed IT operations, large-scale projects, and infrastructure enhancement initiatives. Earlier, he served as Team Lead / Site Incharge at 3i Infotech, leading the IT infrastructure support team at IL&FS Investsmart.
His earlier career includes technology and infrastructure roles at Magnanimous Systems, Kalinfo Computer Services, PCMS, Esdee Business Machines, and Corporate Infosystems.
With more than 25 years of experience in information technology, Pravin brings extensive expertise in IT infrastructure management, information security, IT governance and strategy, digital transformation, technology operations, project management, and service delivery. His elevation reflects his long-standing contribution to the organization’s technology and security landscape.
