Rahul Agarwal has joined MakeMyTrip as Vice President – Information Technology, taking on the responsibility of leading enterprise technology across the MakeMyTrip Group, including MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, redBus, and other group entities.
In his new role, Rahul will head enterprise-wide technology initiatives spanning ERP, analytics, artificial intelligence, and cloud platforms. He will play a key role in strengthening MakeMyTrip Group’s digital backbone, enabling scalable platforms, data-driven decision-making, and AI-led innovation to support the company’s growing travel and mobility ecosystem.
Before joining MakeMyTrip, Rahul was with Airtel, where he served as AVP and COE Head for Supply Chain and ERP. At Airtel, he led large-scale digital transformation programs across procurement, logistics, warehousing, and supply chain operations, including global implementations of WMS, OTM, planning tools, and AI/ML-driven control towers. He was also instrumental in redefining Airtel’s end-to-end procurement and digitization journeys across multiple geographies.
Earlier in his career, Rahul held senior technology and ERP leadership roles at The Coca-Cola Company, KPMG India, Deloitte, and Polycab, where he delivered complex ERP, cloud, and Industry 4.0 transformation programs across manufacturing and supply chain domains. His background combines deep expertise in enterprise systems, cloud platforms, analytics, and digital transformation with hands-on execution across large, complex organizations.
With this appointment, MakeMyTrip strengthens its technology leadership as it continues to scale its platforms and enhance customer and partner experiences through robust, future-ready enterprise technology.
