Robi Axiata PLC. has announced the appointment of Kalyan Achyutuni as Chief Information Officer to lead enterprise IT strategy, AI-led transformation, and digital growth initiatives 

Kalyan Achyutuni has been appointed Chief Information Officer at Robi Axiata PLC.. 

In this role, he will be accountable for enterprise IT strategy, digital platforms, and technology-led business transformation. He will lead the shift toward a digital-first, AI-enabled operating model by modernizing BSS/OSS systems, accelerating cloud and data platform adoption, enabling autonomous network capabilities, and strengthening cybersecurity and operational resilience. 

Prior to this, he served as Advanced Consulting Services Engagement Leader at Nokia, where he led autonomous network transformation programs focused on assurance, AIOps, and observability strategy. 

Earlier, he was Strategic Technology Advisor at PT Link Net Tbk, advising leadership on digital transformation across enterprise, media, and fiber businesses while defining modernization and cybersecurity roadmaps. 

He also served as Chief Technology Officer & Chief Executive Officer at CensaNext, a WayCool Foods Company, where he led enterprise platform modernization, supply-chain digitization, and operational transformation initiatives. 

Before that, he spent over a decade with Axiata in multiple CIO, architecture, and advisory leadership roles across Celcom Axiata, Axiata Group HQ, and Smart Axiata. During this period, he led enterprise IT, cybersecurity, OSS/BSS transformation, cloud modernization, and post-merger integration planning. 

Earlier in his career, he held senior technology and delivery roles with Tata Consultancy Servicess, BearingPoint, and Infosys, delivering transformation programs for telecom clients across multiple regions. 

With more than two decades of experience across telecom, enterprise IT, cloud, cybersecurity, BSS/OSS modernization, and digital transformation, he brings deep expertise in building agile and scalable technology organizations.
