Sandeep Sood has stepped into the role of Head – Information Technology Risk at HDFC Bank, bringing with him nearly three decades of expertise in IT risk management, infrastructure, and network operations. In this leadership role, Sandeep will drive HDFC Bank’s IT risk strategy, strengthening governance, resilience, and innovation across its technology landscape.
Prior to this, Sandeep served as Sr. Vice President – Information Technology Risk at HDFC Bank, where he played a key role in building robust IT risk frameworks and ensuring secure digital banking experiences. His career journey spans leading organizations including L&T Financial Services, Reliance Jio, NPCI, Tata Tele Business Services, Skypower UK, Nelco, HCL Comnet, and STPI (Govt. of India)—where he held pivotal roles in IT infrastructure, data centers, networks, and service assurance.
With extensive experience in IT operations, program management, cybersecurity, and large-scale digital transformations, Sandeep brings a unique blend of technical depth and strategic vision. His leadership will be instrumental in further enhancing HDFC Bank’s position as a digital-first, secure, and innovative financial institution.
