In this role, he will lead the AI Consulting Practice for Purple Fabric, Intellect’s enterprise-grade AI platform, driving AI strategy, Agentic AI adoption, enterprise transformation, and the development of governed AI solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes across industries.
Prior to this, he served as Chief Transformation Officer at IndusInd Bank, where he led the bank’s digital, AI, and cloud transformation initiatives. He was instrumental in building an enterprise Data Lakehouse platform, modernizing legacy systems through Generative AI and cloud technologies, and establishing high-performing AI and data science teams to drive innovation across corporate banking, consumer finance, and microfinance.
He also serves as a Member of the WestBridge Executive Network at WestBridge Capital, where he advises and mentors startups, unicorns, and technology innovators on business growth, product strategy, and digital transformation.
Earlier, he was Group Chief Technology and Operations Officer (CTO/COO) at NSE India, leading technology, operations, and cybersecurity for India’s largest stock exchange. During his tenure, he established technology centers of excellence, expanded platform scalability to process up to 20 billion trade order messages per day, strengthened operational resilience, and implemented key market infrastructure initiatives including T+1 settlement and AI-powered observability.
Before that, he served as Global Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at State Bank of India, where he led technology strategy for one of the world’s largest banking institutions. His key achievements included building YONO, establishing one of India’s largest private cloud environments, pioneering open banking APIs, blockchain-enabled remittances, voice banking, and significantly modernizing the bank’s technology landscape.
Earlier in his career, he spent over seven years with Barclays as Head – IT Strategy, Architecture and Change Delivery, where he established Barclays’ India Global Capability Centre, scaled it to 5,000 professionals, and led enterprise technology transformation across 21 countries.
He also served as Chief Architect – Transfer Agency System Re-engineering at Fidelity Investments, leading large-scale modernization of transfer agency systems, enterprise architecture, digital platforms, and global technology delivery.
With more than three decades of experience spanning AI, digital transformation, enterprise architecture, cloud, cybersecurity, banking technology, and large-scale IT modernization, he brings exceptional expertise in building future-ready digital enterprises and delivering business value through next-generation technologies.
