Vinay Jain has been appointed as Chief Information Security Officer at Kiwi General Insurance Limited, strengthening the company’s cybersecurity and risk management leadership.
In his new role, Vinay will lead enterprise-wide information security strategy, cyber risk governance, cloud and application security frameworks, regulatory compliance, and resilient architecture initiatives to safeguard digital operations and customer trust.
Prior to this, he served as Associate Vice President – Risk Management at ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Limited, where he led AI security, application security, and multi-cloud security portfolios. He played a key role in enhancing DevSecOps maturity, strengthening regulatory compliance, and significantly improving the organization’s overall security posture.
Earlier, at ReBIT | Reserve Bank Information Technology Pvt Ltd., he held multiple cybersecurity leadership roles including Lead – Cyber Security and Associate Manager – DevSecOps. During his tenure, he drove secure cloud deployments, implemented robust CI/CD pipelines, managed ISMS initiatives, and strengthened threat and vulnerability management frameworks for India’s banking ecosystem.
He began his career in cybersecurity and digital forensics at the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), where he conducted cyber forensics and mobile intelligence training for thousands of law enforcement professionals, building deep expertise in cybercrime investigation and digital security.
With extensive experience spanning AI security, cloud security, DevSecOps, cyber risk management, and regulatory compliance, Vinay’s appointment marks a strategic move for Kiwi General Insurance as it advances its secure digital transformation journey.
