Zoho, a leading global technology company headquartered in Chennai, today announced numerous enhancements to Zoho One, its all-in-one business software platform, featuring an evolution in the user experience that facilitates easy and secure collaboration. The new Zoho One offers a seamless experience across its 50+ applications, putting the user and context at its core.
“Today’s Zoho One update redesigns the user experience to address how work is evolving from an app-based system to a platform-based system,” said Hariharan Muralimanohar , Global Head of Marketing, Zoho One. “Customers are not just licensing apps with Zoho One. They are licensing peace of mind. They expect Zoho to take care of the technology part and let them be productive in their business. Our enhancements with this release deliver essentially that–a unified experience delivered through unified integrations, context and data.”
Originally launched in 2017 as a first-of-its-kind suite allowing businesses to run every aspect of their organisation, Zoho One today serves over 75,000 customers worldwide, with an average of more than 22 apps used per business. The software platform stands out for its privacy, security, and trust, underpinned by Zoho’s ownership of the entire technology stack. End-to-end control, coupled with deep integrations, ensures consistent reliability and compliance, equipping organisations with a competitive edge through seamless, intelligent operations.
Zoho One’s new features offer unification across three domains: Intelligence (AI), User Experience, and Integrations. On the Intelligence front, Zoho One is leveraging Zoho’s AI assistant, Zia. It can help aggregate and contextualise data from multiple platforms, including third-party apps, into a single, actionable answer, in Zoho One. This federated intelligence enables organisations to make faster, more informed decisions, eliminating data silos and enhancing productivity.
Zoho One is also powered with Zia Hubs, Zoho’s intelligent content management system, alongside pre-created, dedicated workflows that automatically bring more utility to company data. Now, executed contracts from Zoho Sign and recorded Zoho Meetings conversations both automatically go into Zia Hubs folders. Contract details and relevant conversational details, including meeting recordings and notes, can be surfaced in Zia Search.
Additionally, Ask Zia is easily accessible within the bottom toolbar in Zoho One, allowing fast, prompt-based searches, pulling relevant data across multiple Zoho apps to provide a full picture of a user’s schedule, unfinished tasks, or the latest action items from a meeting. Given the broad set of apps that are deeply integrated into Zoho One, Ask Zia can also deliver highly contextual intelligence to guide decision-making.
Zoho One’s new UX offers a connected, context-aware user experience with the introduction of Spaces. Applications within Zoho One are grouped into Spaces across the toolbar, each serving a distinct purpose. The Personal space includes apps unique to the individual, including personal productivity software. Organisation includes tools for company-wide communication (Forums, Town Hall, Ideas, and more). There are also function-specific spaces grouped by Department (HR, Marketing, Finance, and more). All of these spaces can be customised to better serve employees’ and organisational needs. Spaces also allows users to search across the entire Zoho One ecosystem while being able to automate actions within task-based workflows, without having to switch apps.
With the new enhancements, the platform now comes with a highly customisable Action Panel accessible from any Zoho app. Users can add upcoming meetings, uncompleted tasks, scheduled Cliq messages or emails, and more in their Action Panel. Furthermore, Zoho One’s expanded Dashboard consolidates data from all connected apps into a single location that can be personalised using pre-existing or custom widgets.
Today’s announcement also includes the addition of Vani to Zoho One, offering an all-in-one, visual-first intelligent virtual space.
The third pillar of this new version for Zoho One is Integrations, delivered natively. The platform now offers a centralised integration panel, allowing admins to view, create, monitor and configure connections across Zoho and third-party apps. Additionally, the platform offers a Unified Portal, a customisable space where users can consolidate all of their application-specific portals, allowing for control over multiple apps from a single screen. Foundational tasks like domain verification are now centralised and simplified with Domain provider assisted single-click setup for non-technical users.
Additionally, given that workflows cut across apps, Zoho One has also introduced workflow-driven integrations such as Smart Offboarding, which handles user transitions, device data, and permissions from one guided flow. The new Zoho One also offers a Administration console powered by Zoho Directory, for advanced security features like anomaly detection, Bring Your Own Keys and comprehensive audit logs. The unified integrations combined with the enhanced administration console makes administration work simple and seamless.
In India, Zoho One has seen a Compounded Annual Growth Rate of 27% over the past eight years, with Zoho CRM, Zoho Book and Zoho Analytics being the most used applications in the platform. For regional support, Zoho One includes language support across 12 Indian languages including Tamil, Kannada, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati and Hindi.
