Amit Ray has stepped into the role of CIO Advisory & Customer Success Leader at Jio Platforms Limited (JPL). With a stellar career spanning over two decades across global technology, retail, telecom, and financial services, Amit will now lead CXO Advisory, Customer Success, and Revenue Enablement at JPL, further strengthening Reliance Jio’s strategic enterprise capabilities.
Before this, Amit served as Chief Information Officer at Reliance Digital, where he spearheaded the company’s digital transformation journey for nearly a decade. Under his leadership, Reliance Digital embraced AI/ML, cloud computing, automation, and cybersecurity at scale—delivering elevated customer experiences, operational excellence, and enhanced profitability across key functions.
Amit’s career also includes strategic roles at Vodafone, JPMorgan Chase, Wipro, Capital One, and GE, where he led enterprise architecture, regulatory compliance, and innovative digital programs globally.
His deep expertise in digital strategy, technology architecture, and transformation leadership makes him a key pillar in Jio’s continued journey to redefine customer success and enterprise innovation in India.
