Subhash Subramaniam has been appointed as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Aditya Birla Capital, bringing extensive experience across technology, banking, risk management, and information security.
Prior to joining Aditya Birla Capital, Subhash served as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for ICICI Group, where he was responsible for ICICI Bank and its group companies in India and international markets.
He began his career with the National Stock Exchange (NSE), where he was part of the core team that built and rolled out India’s first electronic exchange trading platform.
In 1997, he founded a technology startup specializing in web applications, e-commerce portals, and eLearning solutions. He expanded the business with development centres in Mumbai and Pune, serving clients across global markets. After scaling the company, he exited the business and joined ICICI Bank.
At ICICI Bank, Subhash went on to gain diverse experience across Treasury Operations, Technology, Risk Management, and Information Security.
With extensive experience spanning enterprise technology, cybersecurity, risk management, banking operations, and digital platforms, Subhash brings a strong combination of technology leadership and financial-services expertise to his new role at Aditya Birla Capital.
