Amit Chopra has joined Versa Networks as Country Director – India & SAARC, based in Gurugram.
Prior to joining Versa Networks, Chopra served as Country Manager at Cato Networks, where he was responsible for leading the company’s business and growth across India and the SAARC region.
Before Cato Networks, he served as Regional Director at MongoDB, leading the Large Strategic Accounts business for the North and East regions and the Enterprise ISV business across India.
Earlier, Chopra held the position of Regional Sales Director at CrowdStrike and spent more than three years as Regional Director at Palo Alto Networks.
Chopra spent nearly a decade with Juniper Networks, holding several leadership positions including Regional Sales Manager – North & East Region, Director – Partner Sales and Head – Marketing, India & SAARC. As Regional Sales Manager, he led Juniper’s business across the North and East regions, including Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan, with responsibility for revenue growth across service provider, government and enterprise segments.
Before Juniper Networks, Chopra served as Senior Marketing Manager – Channels & Alliances at EMC Corporation, managing strategic partner and technology alliance relationships across India and SAARC. He also held business and networking leadership roles at Avaya GlobalConnect and Tata Teleservices.
With more than two decades of experience spanning enterprise technology, cybersecurity, networking, sales, channels, alliances and marketing, Chopra brings extensive regional leadership experience to his new role at Versa Networks.
