Bharat Panchal has joined Bima Sugam India Federation as Chief Risk, Security, and Stakeholder Management Officer. Prior to this role, he served as the Chief Industry Relations & Regulatory Officer for Discover Financial Services, and held the position of Chief Risk Officer for FIS in the India, Middle East & Africa region. He was also the Chief of Risk Management & Compliance at National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) and worked as Vice President and Group InfoSec Audit Head at Kotak Mahindra Bank. Earlier in his career, he held positions at Citi Technology Services, Reliance Communications, Contech Software Ltd, and AVAYA Globalconnect Ltd. Additionally, he has been involved with the Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre at IIT Kanpur as a mentor, and is currently an Independent Director at TAC Security and a Governing Council Member at C3i Hub.
